How to check a travel change before you book
A repeatable check for entry rules, route changes, fees and advisories before money or time is committed.
Start with the rule-maker
Find the official immigration, transport or foreign-affairs page for the country and the specific route. Record the publication or update date before relying on it.
Check the operational detail
Compare the rule with the carrier, airport or rail operator notice. A policy can be current while a route, timetable or check-in requirement has changed separately.
Decide what remains uncertain
If the sources do not state when a rule starts, who it covers or what document is accepted, keep that uncertainty visible and confirm it with the authority or carrier.
